(California High School Exit Exam)
All 10th Grade students will be taking the CAHSEE on March 18th & March 19th. This test is a high school graduation requirement. For more information on the exam, please see the link below. Students will have several opportunities to earn a passing score on both sections of the exam if not passed during this administration.

PLAN, which is taken by most students in preparation for the ACT Assessment during their junior or senior year, includes academic tests and a survey of career interests. PLAN also provides an estimated ACT Assessment score so you can see if you're on track for the college or career of your choice.
If you are undecided, PLAN can put some focus into your future. Participating in PLAN gives you a head start on career and educational planning. Students interested in taking the PLAN may sign up in the Career Center. The cost of the test is $12.00 and must be paid prior to the test date.

STAR testing information
All students in grades 2nd - 11th will be taking the STAR test. The test will cover the following subjects: English, Math, Science, History. Please remind your child to come to school each day on time and prepared for the test. Please avoid scheduling family trips or appointments during this week of testing if possible. For more information, please contact the school office at 760-938-2222. Testing information will be mailed home at the end of March.

PSAT TEST DATE (For Sophomores/Juniors Only)

The PSAT is a preliminary test for the SAT and the National Merit Scholarship. This test is taken as practice for the SAT test which most college bound juniors and seniors take for entrance into a university. Students interested in taking the PSAT may sign up in the Career Center. The cost of the test is $14.00 and must be paid prior to the test date.

Test Taking TipsPlease register as early as possible to insure your choice of test sites. If you need assistance please stop by the Career Center.
You are responsible for registering for these tests. A Credit Card/Debit Card is required for registering for these tests. If you are unable to pay the fee, see Mrs. Padilla to find out if you are eligible for a Fee Waiver.

Includes reports for you, your high school (if you authorize reporting), and up to four college choices (if valid codes are provided when you register).
ACT Plus Writing $49.50
Includes reports for you, your high school (if you authorize reporting), and up to four college choices (if valid codes are provided when you register). The $15.00 Writing Test fee is refundable, on written request if you are absent on test day or switch to the ACT (No Writing) before testing begins.
