WASC

The Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC) is a non-profit organization recognized by federal and state governments as the agency to accredit public, private, and alternative schools.

Big Pine High School completed a self-study in the Spring of 2023 and went through a 2 day accreditation visit in Spring 2023 with three visiting committee members.

The results of this visit resulted in Big Pine High School being awarded the highest award possible, a 6 year accreditation status through June 30, 2029 with a mid-cycle report in the 2025-2026 school year.
